Competitive seasons are aligned on the calendar to create a full slate of professional leagues and unique tournaments around the world. With weekly league schedules and high profile special events in between, top talent from every region will come together in the fall for the most prestigious live event in battle royale esports: the PUBG Global Championship.
There will be six regions with a pro league structure: North America, Europe, Korea, China, Japan, and Chinese Taipei.

Southeast Asia, Latin America, and Oceania will have a pro circuit structure featuring a series of tournaments.
All PUBG Esports pro competitions will be governed by SUPER, the Standard and Universal PUBG Esports Ruleset. Professional matches will place 16 squads of 4 players against each other on Erangel and Miramar in first-person perspective mode only.
Blue Zone settings and item drop rates are tuned for ultra-competitive play. All PUBG esports competitions will adhere to a new global points system. These rules are designed to deliver the perfect mix of pure competition and a fan-friendly viewing experience.
The seasonal narrative will be built on regional circuits and pro leagues week by week with regularly scheduled international gatherings throughout the year. Players and fans will have to stay sharp as the tension rises on the road to the PUBG Global Championship.
The 2019 season will be divided into three phases. Phase 1 runs from late January through March; Phase 2 begins in early May and concludes in June; and Phase 3 starts in mid-August and continues to mid-October.
After each of the first two phases, top teams will travel to special global or multi-regional events to test themselves against the world’s best. In August, the most popular players in PUBG esports will assemble for a thrilling celebration of skill and community.
